My name is Harpal Gujral and I'm a husband, father, son, brother and also a technology professional... you know the kind which makes your computer run!
I work as a software consultant and have spent the bulk of my life reading, writing, thinking about and implementing technology; technology for the enterprise and for the internet.
Within the pages and posts of this site you will find words that reflect my opinion and my opinion alone and not of my employers, clients nor customers present or past. So please don't come after me if you don't like something or if you think it offends you - go get your own space in the interwebs.
Here you'll find my log of discoveries, opinions and rants about technologies like Java, Ruby, Python etc. and also about all the heavy-weight enterprise stuff that puts bread on my table.
I have spent a lot of time writing software that helps keep track of your customers, keep them happy and bring in new ones. This more often than not involves contact center solutions, sales-force automation, marketing and everything that goes in between systems to integrate them together. I have recently also become greatly interested in internet marketing and everything that goes with it.
I like to keep buzz words to a minimum and just discuss facts but if you see acronyms like CTI, RMI, SEO, AHT, SOA, FCR etc. mentioned here, then I'm sorry. I just can't help it. If you want more information please check out the resources page (coming soon) where you should get a quick glimpse of what its all about.
If you need to contact me, you can send a smoke signal and if you are close enough I'll see it and respond. If you think its too much of a hassle and its not the kind of of communication you're interested in then Google me and you'll find a way to get in touch.
