Sixth Sense

I have been following TED for a while and have been fascinated by the quality of the presentations and the eye opening insights of the presenters.

The story that has me amused recently is the story around the next generation wearable device code-named "sixth sense".

This demo -- from Pattie Maes' lab at MIT, spearheaded by Pranav Mistry -- was the buzz of TED. It's a wearable device with a projector that paves the way for profound interaction with our environment. Imagine "Minority Report" and then some.

Wondering if this will ever come out of prototype and see the light of day to become a viable commercial product for the masses. Hope it does.
